Version 2.4.9

By AdminAndrew

This update might be buggy. I really hope the website doesn't crash at an inopportune time, like, I don't know, during my presentation or something.

Okay, this time I think it's the last update until...well, forever. If I suddenly have a craving for writing JavaScript, I might be back. Anyway, feedback page works, you have your own page if you have an account, and no more pesky "success" pages during quiz creation, because I was feeling logical.

Release Notes v2.4.9
-feedback page now functional
-quiz creation tool improved with less interim pages (automatic refreshing)
-permalinks to each user account, and links to them in "Browse"
-several pages updated in an insignificant way
-general bug fixes and improvements

Version 2.4.5

By AdminAndrew

Small update. Cookies for everyone! (if you login...)

Release Notes v2.4.5:
-added about, terms of service, faq pages
-a few more bug fixes and improvements

Version 2.4

By AdminAndrew

This is possibly the last major update...but hey, fill-in-the-blank!

Release Notes v2.4:
-Fill-in-the-blank questions now supported in creating, browsing, and grading
-All question types now support LaTeX in the question text
-fixed some bad bugs
-fixed some bad data design
-added author and creation date when browsing quizzes
-create is no longer in beta. please email me bugs, if you can
-general fixes and improvements

Version 2.3

By AdminAndrew

The long-anticipated (by me; I'm not sure anyone else really cares too much...) support for multiple choice questions is now live! Go ahead, make some quizzes with any combination of true/false questions and multiple choice questions. A few general fixes and improvements have been included as well in this update.

Release Notes v2.3:
-multiple choice support in creating quizzes
-multiple choice support in browsing and grading quizzes
-slight update to feedback
-improvements to true/false question creation tool
-fixed major bug with quiz creation
-errors are now more noticeable
-general fixes and improvements

Version 2.2.8

By AdminAndrew

I feel like making a post, since I've been uploading minor fixes.

Release Notes v2.2.8
-fixes many bugs and memory leaks
-updates browse page with slightly more info
-more interesting error pages

Version 2.2

By AdminAndrew

After over ten hours of work, version 2.2 is out! This, I believe, is the single biggest update in Quizitch history, which is not saying very much at all. You can now make and take quizzes, though only with true and false questions. Hopefully, multiple choice support will come soon.

Release Notes:
-Create, Work, and Preview pages for creating quizzes (Beta. It still has bugs.)
-True/False question support
-Browse page is now functional
-Permalink pages for each quiz
-CSS changes for content
-General bugs and fixes
-More stuff I can't remember off the top of my head

Version 2.1

By AdminAndrew

Last update of the day - just a few minor things.

The next thing slated for work is the core content - making quizzes. What? Actual content? No way!

Release Notes v2.1:
-URL's ending with a slash now work without a hack
-Create page was added. Don't try to submit a form - it's not complete
-Quiz objects now have support in the database
-You might notice an actual favicon
-Jobs page added

Version 2.0

By AdminAndrew

It's finally here! CSS styling for the header and footer (I'll add CSS for the body later, since it's lower priority). I'm so excited I'm boosting up the main version number up by 1. There's also some JavaScript (specifically jQuery) to make clicking buttons more fun.

Release Notes v2.0
-CSS styling on header and footer
-jQuery on header and footer buttons
-Minor fixes and bugs
-Feedback and browse links (nonfunctional)

Version 1.4.2

By AdminAndrew

I just converted every stinkin' page on this website to my new jinja2 template system (using the extends feature). Gosh that took a while.

I think I'll go to bed. Hoping for CSS tomorrow and maybe even support for simple quizzes, if I'm feeling adventurous.

Release Notes v1.4.2
-General fixes and bugs
-New, more efficient HTML authoring system for me
-News posts now support HTML

Version 1.4

By AdminAndrew

Hey everyone. Version 1.4 is now live! Most of these features you won't care about as much as I do, but you do see a touch (i.e. a couple lines of CSS) of styling, eh? Unfortunately, I had to delete all User accounts to make the future happen. Sorry, brushwolf. Please remake your account. Yeah, I'm mad too. I used to have ID number 1. Now I don't.

Release Notes v1.4
-support for / at the end of some URLs
-support for strftime formatting in dates
-improvements in delete and test admin tools
-general UI improvements for admin tools
-expansion of NewsUpdate class
-User attributes reworked
-NewsUpdate done by forms now (will give consistency)

What? Four versions in two days? You must be amazing, Andrew! Thank you, thank you.

I know, I know - you want to know about the elephant in the room - the lack of CSS styling, which makes this site so ugly. It's coming, maybe in a couple days. But then again, who really is actually reading this?

Release Notes v1.3:
-Revamped signup page to include datetime
-Added login functionality, with "remember me" feature
-Logout link
-Admin tools - delete and test - KEEP OUT! It won't let you mess around, anyway.
